What is a Brand Visual Identity?
A brand visual identity is how a brand presents itself visually to create a memorable and recognisable impression. It includes elements like logos, colour palettes, typography, and imagery, all working together to represent the brand’s story, personality, and values. This identity helps customers understand what the brand stands for, builds trust, and creates an emotional connection. A strong visual identity ensures consistency across all platforms, making the brand instantly recognisable and relatable. It’s not just about looking good—it’s about crafting a cohesive and meaningful presence that resonates with audiences and sets the brand apart from competitors.
Outcome:
The Ageing Sea collaborated closely with the Biosphere project management team, encompassing Sunshine Coast Council’s Liveability and Natural Assets, and Business Performance Communications and Marketing departments. Together, we outlined project requirements, timelines, and constraints, supported by the existing Biosphere brand identity assets and interim style guide.
In the first phase, we developed and presented three visual identity concepts, receiving positive feedback that informed the creative direction for subsequent phases.
The final deliverable was a comprehensive 66-page visual identity guide, incorporating refined logos, co-branding examples, colour palettes, typography, iconography, graphic elements, and marketing collateral. This cohesive system reflects the brand's story and ensures consistency across platforms, making the Biosphere instantly recognisable and relatable.
